An 18 page Japanese promotional booklet featuring screen caps and cgi images and text from the Silent Hill game. The cover shows an image of Dahlia and and the back contains a quote in English:

“If destiny interferes with reality, one man’s determination may merely be what is determined by his fate.”

This cover image and quote are also be found on the Japanese Retail poster.

This book is completely in Japanese and I haven’t found a translation or any additional documentation on it online. I assume it was given away in promotion of the game in stores or at a gaming convention like the Tokyo Game Show since it has a “not for resale” message on it. If any one has more information please shoot me an email!

A Sticker sheet I believe was included in a German Video Game magazine called “Maniac” for fans to decorate their Playstation console and accessories.

A free two-sided poster featuring Silent Hill on one side and Castlevania N64 on the other. On the Silent Hill side there is a headline: “Welcome to Hell” and the Silent Hill logo. The poster shows a full body CGI shot of Harry Mason holding a pipe surrounded by in-game CGI shots of Harry, Lisa Garland, Alessa Gillespie and Cybil Bennett.This poster was included in an issue of EGM Magazine but I’m not sure which one. I assume it was released sometime in 1999 after the release of the game.

A portable, working, red and white transistor radio with a Silent Hill 2 logo a long the bottom. This radio was given to members of the press but I’m not sure where or when these were given out.

A snazzy black mug with the Silent Hill 2 logo on it originally from the London Konami offices. When hot liquid is poured into the mug the logo turns a brilliant bright red.

A red and white promotional pen featuring the Silent Hill 2 logo on the cap. Not sure where it was originally from but I assume it was given out at a gaming convention like the Tokyo Gameshow.

A promotional Silent Hill 3 soundtrack given away at Konami Gamers’ Day event in San Francisco January, 16 2003 and a Silent Hill 3 Press Event in London April, 2003. This cd contains 4 tracks from the Silent Hill 3 Original Soundtrack:

01 – You’re Not Here
02 – Breeze ~ In Monochrome Night
03 – Dance with Night Wind
04 – Letter ~ From the Lost Days

There seem to be several versions of this cd floating around online! One cd has the konami.com url on it (which I believe was given at the Gamers’ Day Event), my cd which has the konami-europe.com url (and was originally picked up at the Silent Hill 3 Press Event in London) and another European factory pressed CD sealed in a white case owned by danielbach on the the German Silent Hill forum and Silent Hill Heaven forum!

A Japanese program guide given as a bonus (along with two posters) with the “limited edition” version of Silent Hill 3.

An American release of the game soundtrack given to people who preordered Silent Hill 4 The Room. The soundtrack came in a cardboard sleeve and included 12 tracks exclusive to the US soundtrack

This is a sealed first Japanese retail edition of the game that came with a crystal art Butcher as a bonus.

A promotional item given away by Circuit City if you bought Silent Hill Homecoming for Xbox 360 or PS3.

An American release of the game soundtrack given to people who bought Silent Hill 0rigins on the PS2 or Silent Hill Homecoming on the Xbox/PS3 at Gamestop at the end of November and early December . I’m not sure why they didn’t give this away when Homecoming actually came out! I had to buy my copy on ebay and the case was broken in shipping!

Later I won a new sealed copy from Original Sound Vision blog.

During the Tokyo Game Show ‘09 a flyer and a postcard featuring a deserted Silent Hill street and the game logo was distributed to anyone visiting the Konami booth.

With any preorder of the game Gamestop offered a limited number of promotional soundtracks of the game not sold in stores.

A set of Silent Hill postcards that were given as a bonus if you pre ordered Silent Hill Shattered Memories on the KonamiStyle website. Each postcard has cover artwork from each Silent Hill game released in Japan.

A neat free promotional Silent Hill newspaper with articles and details around the film.

A US press kit with the plot, movie development, cast/director information and interviews. The included cd-rom has pictures and logos that can be used in different media.
