This is the special European edition of the original Silent Hill 2. The two disc edition comes with the PS2 game,a “Making of” Silent Hill 2 documentary dvd, a Silent Hill 2 sticker of James in a hallway with a flashlight (there were 4 different designs available), a Konami competition paper and a manual in English.

The Making documentary DVD by Fun-TV France is broken up into 4 sections:

1) The Making of Documetary:

– Backrounds Repulsion and attraction:
Interview with Art director Masahi Tsuboyama

-Scene decoding Mary or Maria?:
An analysis of a scene the the prison level in Silent Hill 2 and interview with drama director Suguru Murakoshi

2) Trailer: Silent Hill 2 E3, Tokyo Games Show, and a Press Event trailers. This section also contains trailers of: Age of Empire, Metal Gear Solid 2, Pro Evolution Soccer, Shadows of Memories, Silent Scope 2, X Games Skateboarding, and Z.O.E.

3) Art Gallery: pictures of characters, monsters and locations in Silent Hill 2

4) Biographies: Pictures and profiles of Imamura (producer), Sato (CGI director),Yamaoka (sound director), Tsuboyanma (director), Ouraku (scenario writer), Ito (art director) and Murakoshi (drama director)

The DVD also contained two “secret” videos found only by searching each dvd menu with your remote:

- a video of a cool press event in France where members of the press were taken to a Silent Hill decorated house by monster nurses and had a paintball battle.

- a Castlevania Chronicles director’s interview

The Art of Silent Hill is a multimedia DVD containing: 3 art music videos, game trailers, video, game openings,
marketing materials and pictures of creatures, characters, drawings and game settings.

The DVD is divided into 4 sections:

1) Art of Silent Hill: contains two music videos entitled “KI-NO-KO” and “Caramel Mix”

2) Creature: contains a creature centric music video entitled “Furuko” and pictures of monster art from Silent Hill (PS1) and Silent Hill 2

3) Trailer: contains Silent Hill 2 trailers from the Autumn Tokyo Game Show 2000, Spring Tokyo Game Show 2001, E3 2001, and the Silent Hill (PS1) and Silent Hill 2 game openings.

4) Collection: contains the UFO ending from Silent Hill (PS1), marketing materials for Silent Hill 2 (Mousepad,
game packaging, and poster designs), and pictures of characters, drawings and indoor/outdoors areas of Silent Hill 2

The dvd insert is also a small poster of Fukuro with information about the DVD release on the back.

Lost Memories: The Art and Music of Silent Hill is a multimedia DVD containing: music, art, trailers from the first 3 Silent Hill games.

The DVD is divided into 7 sections:

1) Sound: This section contains sound tracks from Silent Hill, Silent
Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3. As each new song plays an image from the corresponding game shows in the background.

2) Trailers: The section has the opening and trailers from all three games

3) Pictures:: Shows pictures of characters and scenes from Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3

4) Creatures: : Shows pictures of the monsters from Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3

5) Production Materials: Art and promotional material from each game

Silent Hill 3: Poster designs, magazine covers and character designs

6) Art of Silent Hill : :contains the Ki-NO-KO and FUKURO music videos

7) Bonus:

- Silent Hill 3 Storyboard / Game footage of when Heather finds the gun in the mall.

- Usagi a new music video starring Robbie and the other rabbits from the Silent Hill Lakeside Amusement Park.

A UMD released as a promotional tie in to the Silent Hill Film. The UMD contains several animated IDW Silent Hill comcs, music from Silent Hill 1-4, music videos, as well as interview and trailers from the games and movie.

The American DVD release of the Silent Hill Movie. There is unfortunately only one extra feature on the DVD… an hour long “making of” documentary,Path of Darkness: Making “Silent Hill,” that has behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with cast and crew. I hope a special edition is released at some point…

The Japanese DVD and Blu-ray release of Silent Hill. The boxset includes the main feature, 2 bonus discs with an hour making-of footage and an hour comparison between the movie and game series by the Konami
staff, a Blu-ray disc with the original contents of discs one and two. I really wish they released something like this in America.

Silent Hill Guide of Chaotic Town: A Book with Movie and Game information. It’s in Japanese but based on the photos and limited English I think it contains:
